The Apple IIc’s illustrated explanation of on-screen scrolling. (via Ben Pieratt) It was 1984. The concept was new to most users.

Fascinating. I’ve never seen a diagram like this explaining how folder hierarchies work (maybe because folder tree views seem to be explanatory enough?). Since they still exist, and my relatives still don’t understand them, maybe I should make one.
